
Naphyrone, another amphetamine-like stimulant drug, a pyrovalerone derivative like MPDV, sold as a novel designer drug. It functions as a triple reuptake inhibitor, acting on serotonin, dopamine and norepinephrine.
It was formerly sold under the name “NRG-1” in the UK, though samples were highly variable in quality with only around 10% of tested samples actually containing naphyrone. “Compounds found in products labelled NRG-1 included MDPV, flephedrone, mephedrone, butylone and caffeine.
